About the Author

Prof. Helen Paul (Ph.D.) is a dynamic scholar, celebrated entertainer, and multi-disciplinary creative affectionately known to friends, fans, and colleagues as “Helen Paul 360” for her comprehensive mastery across the arts.

Bridging the gap between the town and gown, Professor Paul holds an impressive array of academic qualifications. She earned her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from her alma mater, the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where she currently lectures as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Creative Arts. Additionally, she holds dual Master’s degrees, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where she also serves as a Tutorial Facilitator at the MOSNA Centre.

Expanding her expertise globally, she obtained a second Ph.D. in Christian Counselling and Psychology from Heart Bible University (USA), where she serves as the Head of the Department for Music, Arts, and Entertainment. An accomplished educator in the United States, she is a certified teacher who instructs on Visual Arts, Drawing, and Sculpture at institutions including JCPS in Louisville, Kentucky. She holds notable professional certifications from the United States, including CSM, A-CSM, and CSPO, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Strategy Management, Nigeria.

Beyond the lecture hall, Professor Paul is an internationally renowned stand-up comedian, famously known by her persona ‘Tatafo’, a reputable TV presenter, and a celebrated voiceover artist. Her legal and civic contributions include serving as an appointed Notary Public through The Clerks Authority in the City of Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

As a prolific writer, she balances academic publications in reputable journals with a vast creative portfolio. She has written essential academic books, including Synergies: Engaging Theatre, Religion and Politics in Social Change, The Power of Women, and A Book on Comedy. Professor Paul remains deeply passionate about creativity, both as an academic art form and a live stage practice. She is happily married to lawyer Dr. Femi Bamisile, and they are blessed with children.
